Google Adwords

Google Adwords

I received an email lately from Ian Traynor with a great link in it about Google Adwords.

Ian told me that the folks over at Google have created over 6 hours of training videos showing you how to get the best out of AdWords.  If you are new to Adwords or are just starting to learn about it, then this is the best place to learn and it is free!

There’s over 60 videos in bite-sized chunks (2 minutes to the longest 15 minutes). Even if you’re not (yet) using AdWords, you can still learn a lot about search engine optimization from these videos.

I’ve been using AdWords for a few years now. I’ve experimented with a few PPC programs, but AdWords is the one that has delivered the most positive results for me.

Like them or hate them, Google is still one of the best!

What You Should Do Before Buying a Product

guarantee What You Should Do Before Buying A Product

I just sent an email off to someone that is promoting something new.  Why you may ask, because I am interested in there product and I had a lot of questions.  I of course wanted to know WIIFM (What’s In It For Me).  Which is what you and everyone should always ask themselves.  What is in it for me?

Whenever you are interested in a product or service, the person selling most likely always has a blog or an email address that you can contact them with and ask questions(if not, don’t buy).  So, don’t be shy, ask questions, find out what you are buying before you buy.  If they either don’t respond back to you, or just outright don’t answer the question(s) you asked, then I would not buy it.  Like I said in a previous post, if you buy something, use it within a reasonable time limit that you set for yourself, otherwise it was just money pi&&ed away down the drain.

Look at every facet of the product or service you are about to purchase and then ask questions(if you have any).  The answers should help you in deciding if you should buy or not.  Price is not a factor, the factor is if you could use this product and what it can do for you and or your business!

Here is to your next purchase,  Cheers!

Checking Your Email

If you are into any kind of Internet Marketing, you know that you get a lot of emails all day long.  Now, the question is do you constantly check your email?  If you do, you should be setting a time for once or twice a day to check your email.  Just think of all the time wasted just checking your email all the time.  If you set a time in your busy day to check your email, you are setting yourself up for more time to spend on your business.

I had someone tell me, “But I have to check my email in case one my customers needs something!”  True, that may happen, but the email will still be there for you when you check it at your predetermined time. Theres is a solution.  You could have two email addresses, one for your regular business stuff and one where you have it directed to an email set exclusively for customers.  That way you would only have to check the regular business stuff just once a day and the customer one a few times a day.

Here’s a tip, when you check your business stuff, do it at the end of the day, that way you won’t get too distracted.  The less time you spend checking your email, the less time you have for business.

To your success,
