Googles Friend Connect and Twitter

This is important if you are into the social networking circle or Web 2.0.  If you are not into Twitter, I would highly suggest you use their services, this will be hot in ’09 for marketers.

About two weeks ago Google released public access to it’s new Friend Connect platform.   The Google blog and the Twitter blog both announced integration between Google Friend Connect & Twitter.

Here is what they say on their site: “To help you and your Twitter network stay connected no matter where you are on the web, we’re excited to announce that Google Friend Connect has integrated with Twitter.  This means that when you join a friend connected site, you can choose to use your Twitter profile, discover people you follow on Twitter who are also members of the site, and quickly tweet that you have found a cool website.”

To Learn more, just visit Google Friend Connect or Google Friend!

Here is my twitter profile if you would like to follow me on Twitter:

Buying Domain Names

DN Coupons

DN Coupons

I am not sure where you buy your domain names from, but there is a place that you can go to get a code for a percentage off and save some money in the process!

I bought ten domain names the other day for a project I am working on and saved at least $30 on all ten.

It doesn’t matter if you are buying one, two, or multiple domain names, you get a percentage off on your total order.

Here is what you do, when you are ready to check out with your domain name purchase, you will see a place to put a code in.  Go to www.dncoupons.com find your coupon code for where you are purchasing your domain name(s) from and enter the code into the box asking for the code, then update your shopping cart and you will see the discount you have just saved.

The codes do change from time to time, so remember to to go to www.dncoupons.com before you purchase your next domain name(s).

I hope this has helped and if it did, please leave a comment, thank you!

To your success,

Google Adwords

Google Adwords

I received an email lately from Ian Traynor with a great link in it about Google Adwords.

Ian told me that the folks over at Google have created over 6 hours of training videos showing you how to get the best out of AdWords.  If you are new to Adwords or are just starting to learn about it, then this is the best place to learn and it is free!

There’s over 60 videos in bite-sized chunks (2 minutes to the longest 15 minutes). Even if you’re not (yet) using AdWords, you can still learn a lot about search engine optimization from these videos.

I’ve been using AdWords for a few years now. I’ve experimented with a few PPC programs, but AdWords is the one that has delivered the most positive results for me.

Like them or hate them, Google is still one of the best!
