Google’s Wonder Wheel

Google’s Wonder Wheel has been out for a little while now, but I thought I would enlighten those that don’t know what it is.

The Wonder Wheel is something kind of cool.  You can drill down into a niche by clicking on one of the links in the wheel and that goes deeper into that niche.

How to find the Wonder Wheel?  Just go to Google then in the search box, enter your key word or phrase and perform a search.

After submitting the key word or phrase you would like to search for, click on the “show more options” link on the top left side.

Clicking on the Wonder wheel link will now create a sun shaped circle of terms, all related to your original  search.

You can navigate your way around the relevant key words and phrases and find more and more results.  It’s easy and the graphical effects make it fun.

Tweet Deck

Hi, I am not sure how many of you use Twitter as a way to communicate or use a way to promote your stuff here on the internet.  But I must say there is a new tool out there that you can use called Tweet Deck.

Tweet Deck is a seperate entity from Twitter.  It uses Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information i.e twitter feeds, and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces.

TweetDeck enables you to split your main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets.  The default columns can contain All Tweets from your timeline, @replies directed to you and direct messages.  The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the live tweet information.  Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.

This is a pretty cool tool if you are using Twitter.

So, go read all about it and use it if you like and yes it is free.
